Change Management Summit

Today’s Change Management Summit, organized by Inštitút Zmeny, brought many powerful insights into how companies manage change.

Ján Uriga captured it perfectly:
“Change strategy is an oxymoron.”

Change is not about a plan — it is about people learning how to operate differently in uncertainty.
It is a process of how quickly, and how many people, can adopt new approaches when direction, leadership, or priorities shift.

Several key ideas repeatedly emerged during the discussions:
• Change is the management of uncertainty.
• Short-term thinking is our national disease.
• Repetition of small rituals is the foundation of lasting change.
• The best people should not be tied to the hardest problems, but to the market’s biggest opportunities.

All of these ideas share one common denominator — the ability to maintain balance between strategy and adaptation.

And this is exactly where Interim Management has its place. Interim Managers step into companies during periods of uncertainty and bring perspective, decisiveness, and experience that give the change process both meaning and momentum.

TOP HEADS is a partner of the Change Management Summit, which once again demonstrated that managing change is not about processes, but about the people who are able to lead it.

If your company is also facing change and you are looking for a way to manage it quickly and effectively, Interim Management may be the solution.
I would be happy to explain how it could work in your specific situation.

👉 Thank you to Inštitút Zmeny and Dana Minova for an event full of inspiration and valuable exchange of experience.
