February 22, 2023 A phone call from our client: “I need you to find me a Superman who can move production from France to Moravia in 4 months.”
INITIAL SITUATION
Moving production from France to Moravia required addressing and solving the following challenges for the client:
- Resistance from the local team, including managers
- Unprepared information system – CRM
- Insufficient internal communication
SOLUTION
- On February 22, 2023, the client contacted us.
- On February 24, 2023, we presented two TOP HEADS Interim Managers who were interested in the project both in terms of content and location.
- The client selected one of them.
- The TOP HEADS team processed the contractual relationships and NDAs with both the client and the Interim Manager.
- On March 1, 2023, the Interim Manager started and kicked off his mission.
- A key moment for the successful production transfer was improved communication – he established a relationship with the local Supply Chain Manager in France, winning him over in the first meeting.
- With his help, he replaced a problematic team member who was unwilling to cooperate and was sabotaging the project.
- The local team received assurances from both the French and local management that other job positions were prepared for them, ensuring they would not lose their jobs after handing over the work to Moravia.
- The CRM implementation was delayed by 6 weeks, but the experienced Interim Manager completed the production transfer with only a 4-week delay.
- On July 28, 2023, our Interim Manager successfully completed the mission and the project to transfer production to Moravia.
